Sikhs protest against Taliban atrocities

KANPUR: Condemning the atrocities being committed on the Sikh community in Taliban controlled areas in neighbouring countries, members of the
community led a huge protest in the city on Sunday.

During the protest, Asif Ali Zardari, president of Pakistan, was vehemently condemned for bowing down to Taliban's dictates.

Sardar Mohkam Singh Bhatia, a prominent leader of the community said, "It is sad that Taliban has almost captured so many areas of the Pakistan while the army of Pakistan, along with entire system, remains a mere observant to the scene."

A frantic appeal to Indian government was made to bring back all the families safely in the country and help them in all possible ways.
